🚜 CLEANING THE TRIMMER: EASY CLEANING!

✨ Protection for an easier season

At the start of the season, before starting trimming, you can spray our Protection , which will make future washing easier throughout the season.

If your grinder is new, it is best to apply our ECOPROTECT® long-term protection .

This long-lasting protection makes washing easier in the long term, allowing you to make significant savings (estimated between €350 and €690 excluding tax depending on the size of the trimmer, for a period of 5 years ).

⚠️ 1. Mandatory PPE (these are not fashion accessories)

1️⃣ Gloves

2️⃣ Glasses or visor

3️⃣ Blouse

4️⃣ Mask (if you work in a closed environment).

5️⃣ Safety shoes (to avoid risks associated with product drips or slips).

🔎 Warning : The cutter blades are very sharp, be careful to avoid any risk of cuts.

🧪 2. Product preparation

Depending on the condition of the grinder, choose a dosage of 10% to 20% of Degreaser or follow the boost protocol depending on the thickness of the dirt and its age:

10% for regular maintenance.
20% or boost protocol for a very dirty trimmer after a long period of use, which will break up the trimming residues but also the hard water from rinsing.

🚰 3. Product application

1️⃣ Choose your method:

Foam cannon : Ideal for quick and even application, but uses more product.
Sprayer : Consumes less product but requires more time for application.

2️⃣ Apply from bottom to top , using a sweeping motion from left to right .

⚠️ Golden rule : Never let the product dry on the surface!

⚠️ Never apply a product to a hot hood, especially below 35°C ! 🔥 The product may evaporate too quickly and damage the paint .

💧 4. Rinse

1️⃣ Use a pressure washer .

2️⃣ Maintain a distance of 20 cm for effective rinsing without damaging the surface.

🔧 Good practices with the sprayer

⚠️ Generally speaking, NEVER leave a pressure sprayer or foam cannon under pressure, this damages the seals and the device. The best practice is to degas your sprayer and not leave any remaining product in a pressure sprayer.
